We love the fact that our bamboo fabric offers the same qualities as silk but with the huge advantage that you can wash it!
We’ve included all the information below on the internal care label of your garment for your convenience.
Bamboo is not quite as robust as cotton and so we recommend washing garments without any cotton content at a slightly cooler temperature than those with cotton.
Bamboo viscose/elastane mix fabric
We call this our “silky” fabric and recommend washing at or below 30 degrees.
Bamboo viscose/cotton/elastane mix fabric
We call this our “cosy” fabric and recommend washing at or below 40 degrees. The addition of cotton in this fabric makes it slightly more robust.
The elastane content in our socks can them to contract when exposed to heat. We recommend a wash of 40 degrees and drying them naturally as opposed to drying them with heat. Some shrinkage is anticipated in the washing process but they will stretch back to the pre-wash size.
DRYING & IRONING
Natural drying achieves the best results. As bamboo fabric is 3 times more absorbent than cotton, clothes will take a little longer to dry. Garments can be tumble dried on a low setting.
Iron on low setting.
